      Well, it was different.
      And - as you may have suspected from the pictures - I found the Italian faces even more interesting than the 17th century statues that were carried around.
      On Good friday - the procession involves the statues of Christ's passion - but on easter sunday - only the statue of the risen Christ is carried. This is Christ triumphant - and he is carried in a jaunty manner - with a much more upbeat musical accompaniment, compared to the understandably funereal music of the friday.
