This Arkansas Pioneer Homestead.....

.....was rescued and preserved for future generations by Lyons College in Batesville, Arkansas. It is a double dog-trot style log structure....

    Those old houses are always a good theme for an Image.
    And in black and white this pictures reminds of old times....

    this little house looks very attractive Den, I will look it up in Wikipedia, but what I see is a fine picture in b/w of a place where I would like to stay for a while..

    It is good to see that even these old wooden homes are being preserved for posterity. This is a very good shot and the b/w tone ad to the feeling of age.

    also elegant, and the dog-trots giving shade to
    everyone sitting outside .... a fine capture, very
    sharp details and the tonal range excellent !!!
