The south face of La Meije 3984 m.
La Meije has three peaks, the highest point of the mountain called Grand Pic de la Meije and is located at an altitude of 3984 m.
The first ascent of La Meije was taken on August 16, 1877 by Emmanuel Boileau de Castelnau and Pierre Gaspard and his son.
