The Living Forest (94) : Clouded Yellow Butterfly
The Clouded Yellow is a very attractive butterfly, widespread in North Africa and the Mediterranean region, from where it migrates north-wards each year.
On fine summer and warm early autumn days, this butterfly spends long periods flying restlessly from flower to flower. When feeding it remain extremely alert and rarely settle for more than 3 or 4 seconds at a time.
Dutch name : Oranje Luzernevlinder
German name : Postillon (auch Wander-Gelbling genannt)
Latin name : Colias crocea

It is an interesting documentary you give us with this fine picture. I had to smile about the butterfly being restless. In my experience, when I have a camera with me, all butterflies, insects, birds and animals get restless :-))))Have a great weekend
