The Living Forest (146) : Coltsfoot
At this time of the year, Coltsfoot can be found growing in the forest, mainly in damp places.
Those early spring flowers look a bit like dandelions.
Coltsfoot produces only pollen, no nectar.
Dutch name : Klein Hoefblad
German name : Huflattich
Latin name : Tussilago farfara
