The Living Forest (127) : Drone Fly feeding on Cow Parsley
Cow Parsley grows mostly all along shaded roadsides in the forest.
The delicate white flowers are very attractive to insects like this Drone Fly, a hoverfly that looks somewhat like a Honey Bee.
It’s called Drone Fly because of this resemblance (sometimes also known as False Bee).

German name : Mistbiene auf Wiesenkerbel
Latin name : Eristalis tenax / Anthriscus sylvestris
