Yellow brain is a typical winter fungus.
It's a greasy and slimy fungus with an irregular shaped fruiting body that grows only in crevices on dead bark parts from different kinds of deciduous trees.
A beautiful appearance in the dark winter forest !
Dutch name : Gele trilzwam
German name : Goldgelber Zitterling
Latin name : Tremella mesenterica
