The Flying Fish II
African darter with a freshly caught fish while flying away. On the Chobe River I was able to watch some of these birds catching fish, they are very skilled. Shortly after sunset I managed this picture.
African Darter (Afrikanischer Schlangenhalsvogel) mit einem frisch gefangen Fisch beim wegfliegen. Am Chobe River konnte ich einige dieser Vögel beim Fischfang beobachten, sie sind sehr geschickt. Kurz nach Sonnenuntergang gelang mir dieses Bild.

Ein tolles Bild.Der deutsche Name lautet Afrikanischer Schlangenhalsvogel (Anhinga rufa). Der Beutefisch ist ein Wels, wahrscheinlich aus der Gattung "Schilbe".
