The sand dunes (please refer also to the previous photos in the series.Thank you very much)
Precipitation maybe scanty in deserts but winds often blow fiercely creating sand storms.Wind blown sand grains end up as level sheets that are piled high in billowing sand dunes. Its amazing the colour variation of these dunes in different times of the day and under the exteremes of temperature.
