the cathedral

an interesting example of Lombardy-Roman architecture started in 1107, seriously damaged by the earthquake of 1117 and coand consecrated in 1190. The façade, with a facing in marble, has a double row of open galleries with a superimposed rose-window,a twelthy century vestibule and a Renaissance crowning structure.

I like the composition and the "frame", it's perfect in b/w with a fine toning.
