taken this Sept. on Minstrel Island ... once a booming little place with a school and ferry service and a dance hall .... now taken over by ghosts and bears ...

Das sieht traurig aus. Bei solchen Bildern frage ich mich immer was wohl mit den Menschen passiert ist.

Oh, das sieht wirklich nciht gut aus - schadem, liegen diese Häuser doch wirklich wunderbar nah am Wasser! Es wäre für die Natur und auch den Blick des Betrachters wünschenswert, wenn sie die Bauten abreißen würden!

holy mother of destruction! an interior chaos with a view… sad, yes, but it makes our eyes quickly tiptoe across the room to look the window and lose themselves in the vista of the sunkissed bay and beautiful green pines… the clash of mood is fascinating! hugs, sabine. p.s.: bear, you can come out from behind the curtain, now! ; )

Abandon houses always have something sad...
We can imagine what live was there, when those dreamers were living..and planing there future !!

It's sad to see image like this but the window view is fantastic. That's why it emphasizes the title - this used to be lovely home for someone and now it's all gone. Shattered dream.
