Yesterday Germany was struck by a more restrictive lockdown closing most stores. Today I had to go to town and took this shot...his accordion player was sitting beside on the left...

For me the scene showing the back of the person looking down the lonely road give the message of what the future might hold, will things stay the same or improve. The music plays as we venture into the unknown.

  Thanks Ken, you’re right! What got me to press the exposure was the emptiness in front of the musician at a time when this area normally would be crowded. With Corona not much is normal anymore. regards, take care and stay healthy Berthold

usually you want to see a person in front. To take the point of view of the person itself is an interesting and eye-catching interpretation of the context.
I like the contrast as well :-)

  I hatte mir im Sommer ein 35mm f 0,95 geleistet (Mitakon) und bin dabei zu lernen wie man mit diesem besonderen Objektiv umgeht. Diese Aufnahme - und ein paar andere hier - sind mit Offenblende entstanden. Freut mich wenn’s gefällt! LG - bleibt gesund - Berthold

  Many of these musicians are from southeast Europe and earn their income here in Germany. I have no idea where and how they live here. Beside this the homeless are in in even more hopeless situation. Due to Corona the charity help is not able to provide the amount of support as usual....Corona hits the poor most.
