    Beautiful warm colours! And the shadow on the right side makes the composition even more interesting.

      Thankyou for the compliement. Not taken recently - but was taken in late autumn, in the late afternoon. It is looking east to the Lake Windermere in the distance. The sun was nearly on the horizon - hence the shadows were extensive. It was a nice day. The low sunlight was intensified by the broken stratus cloud above. This ridge is the northern edge of Little Langdale, which is my favourite part of the lake District.
