Sehr gut gelungene Aufnahme. Beeindruckend ist auch immer das leuchtend rote Farbenspiel der Blätter im Herbst.Und Danke an Johann für seinen informativen Kommentar. VG Eckhard

Schöne - Essigbaum Fruchtstände - Aufnahme.Der Essigbaum, auch Hirschkolben~Sumach genannt (Rhus typhina), ist leider hier in Deutschland, in den Verruf gekommen giftig zu sein. Doch das ist er nicht, denn seine anderen Vertreter sind giftig. Der Essigbaum ist aus Nordamerika eingewandert. Dort werden die Früchte von den Indianern zu einer Limonade verarbeitet, die sehr viel Vitamin C beinhaltet. Sie wird auch “Indian Lemonade” genannt. Dieses rosafarbene Getränk hat einen leicht säuerlichen Geschmack und ist dadurch sehr erfrischend. Es enthält sehr viel Vitamin C.
