In God's Country - Barren Fertility
In a bid to revive the landscape, scientists from the Dongchuan monitoring station dug through the sand, and soil to release the original source of the river which has been choked by centuries of mudslides. What you can see here is the beginnings of a stream. This runs into the Dongchuan gully.
