Iceland Puffin
Taken along the cliffs at Latrabjarg, in the West Fjords of Iceland, on July 2, 2008. The Puffin birds are a favorite of the tourists to Iceland, and this location is a great spot to photograph them! The Puffin is equally comfortable on land and water - burrows its nests in the ground along the cliffs edges, where it mates during the summer season. It can swim, and can dive to a depth of 15 feet below the water surface.
