How it's done
Most of you know that composing an image like this involves much more than a simple 'copy/paste' to produce a convincing pic. I'm alway all over the different Photoshop filters, because no photo or in my case sometimes no scanned painting of mine is perfect from the start.
This demo involved some items that were already available: a stock photo of a landscape, a pic that I took myself of an F-16 and some clouds I previously painted and portions of palm trees that I yanked out of a photo. This took me about 6 hours.
