The U.S. Navy 'Blue Angels' are one of the World's leading flight demonstration teams, operating six blue-yellow painted F/A-18 Hornet fighters. Here you see the No.1 Solo going through a high-G routine as seen from the No.2 Solo flying line astern behind it. The remaining fourship is executing a goaround in the back. The scenery could be in the vicinity of their home base NAS El Centro in California.
Solo plane: photo, fourship formation: photo of one aircraft used four times, background: hills are Terragen, clouds are photo, combination modified with Zoom Blur. Vortex clouds coming of Solo's wings were digitally brushed in with Wacom pen during editing in PS CS2.
