Highland cow at Muiravonside
Endlich ergab sich mal wieder eine Gelegenheit meine Freunde in Schottland zu besuchen und so war ich Anfang April für eine Woche in Schottland. Dabei ergaben sich allerdings nicht so viele Gelegenheiten klassische Schottlandmotive zu fotografieren. Doch ein paar Aufnahmen möchte ich Euch zeigen.
Muiravonside war früher eine Farm, auf der mein schottischer Freund John aufgewachsen ist. Nun ist es ein Country Park mit schönen Wanderwegen, der vom Falkirk Council verwaltet wird.
The Country Park, owned and managed by Falkirk Council Countryside Service, and formerly an estate owned by the Stirling family of Falkirk, is situated in the Southeast corner of the Falkirk Council area. It covers an area of 170 acres immersed in historic, industrial and wildlife interests. It is open all year round.
