Ganesha god of wisdom and knowledge
Ganesha is the god of wisdom and knowledge, bringer of happiness and remover of all obstacles. He is often worshiped before important undertakings, journeys or exams to remove hurdles and ensure a successful process. In Bali his followers associate him with wives Siddhi (success) and Buddhi (insight, understanding).
In Balinese Hinduism, Lord Ganesha is considered the god of new beginnings. He is worshipped at the beginning of any important occasion, such as a wedding or a temple ceremony, to help remove any obstacles and ensure success.

Da er so ein netter und nützlicher Gott ist haben ihn die Chinesen in ihren buddhistischen und taoistischen Tempeln kurerhand integriert und als buddhistischen Heiligen klassifiziert, er taucht dort immer häufiger auf.Und wie ich jetzt kürzlich feststellen konnte haben das auch die thailändischen Buddhisten gemacht und Ganesha auch in ihre Tempel eingebaut, nicht in die ganz alten, aber in etliche neue, z.B. den 4 Jahre alten Blauen Tempel in Chiang Rai.
Kann ja auch nichts schaden und man weiß ja nie :-))))
