Hi Maarten, I reckon this image has great potential!To make it more impressive I would crop 2/3 of the bright foreground and on both sides just leaving the dark verticals next to the domes in the image.
Furthermore reduce the brightness and increase the contrast.
But to make it perfect instead of the last step you need Adobe Camera Raw Converter: reduce exposure, increase the contrast, darken the highlights, brighten the shadows, adjust the histogram and with the gradiuant filter increase the contrast of the top of the sky.
