Downtown Honningsvåg in the Rain
where I liked the orange umbrella across from the orange house.....
Considering that our cruiseship with about 2000 guests is tied up in the harbour, there were only few around who enjoyed this colourful remote "city".
Honningsvåg is the northernmost city in mainland Norway. It is located in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county. Honningsvåg was declared a city in 1996, despite its small population. of 2,484 (2017) .Honningsvåg is situated at a bay on the souteastern side of the large island of Magerøya, while the famous North Cape and its visitor center is on the northern side of the island. Honningsvåg is a port of call for Hurtigruten Coastal Express.

dieter.j.We both had a similar idea - I was looking for the orange dressed people from our cruiseship on Feb. 24, 2023 (only ~500 passengers, all equipped with orange jackets). The viewed angle is almost the same. best regards, dieter
