A major avenue in the old section of Dharavi Slums. I found this to be an important image. With narrow avenues to navigate, it became clear to me that you quickly develop an aggressive attitude to survive amongst men. The last third of this main passage carries the waist water with an unforgettable fragrance which permeates the inner guts of the slum. A man approaches me, It became clear to me one of us had to move out the way. The joist was on. IN the end to pass me he had to do the type rope act on the small pipe and support his weight with the palm of his hand on the wall to pass around me.
