A very beautiful picture of this bridge. Well capture. Some people use photoshop in an extreme way and give their pictures an unnatural appearance. Your image is technically correct and it shows the nature/scene like it was in berwick. I like that. Marry christmas although you celebrate it at the morning of the 25 while we do it already tomorrow.

"I live and learn" - regarding your comment about Christmas.
Have you yourself been to Berwick ?
      Mark.

No, i was only once in the uk and that was 1992. I have a cousin living in london. He invited me multiple times but i never went to london. It is a pitty because the uk has great destinations and a lot to see. But i definitely will do so in the future. In Germany we celebrate christmas at the afternoon of the 24. So basically tomorrow. All children are already excited :-) and we have two public holidays following the 24. The shops are open tomorrow until 2pm and closed on the 25 and 26. You having 'boxing day' but here everything is closed. I like that because my birthday is on the 26. and i never have to work on that day. Just when i leave germany that changes. But i can't go to the uk to live and work there anymore since you leave the eu what i deeply regret.

      Do not worry about brexit.
      Britain will live and learn.
If we leave - we will probably ask to come back in in 10 years, or so.
As for the picture - this view is of  the old stone bridge - built in around 1620 - which crosses the river tweed.
the sea is about 2 kilometres away , towards the sun.
Berwick is a fortress town on the border with Scotalnd.
      Best Wishes
      mark.

Thanks. It was a cold winter's morning. There's a more modern bridge which crosses the river - and that provides this vantage point. mark.
