Blessing at the entrance gate
The Pemangku priest and his wife - she is Pemangku pries as well - are blessing the wedding couple and the guests before entering the husbands house.
The focal point of the wedding ceremony is the ritual cleansing of the couple by the priest, for until then they had been living in impurity. It doesn't matter whether both families agreed to the connection or not.
