Eidfjord
is the administrative centre of Eidfjord municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the shore of the Eid Fjord, an inner branch of the large Hardangerfjorden. It has a population (2019) of 544.

  thank you, Joachim , and I have to say that the landscape often looks very similar or even alike , but we have many small and large islands . We are privileged being sailors to have seen much of British Columbia and Alaska from the water ... so much is not accessable by land.

Da hast du doch eine wunderbare Reise nach Norwegen gemacht und solch tollen Bilder mitgebracht. Die Fjords sind schon einfach sehr malerisch. Diese eiszeitlichen Ausschürfungen in Gebirgen sind einfach eine Augenweide. Dazu kommen die Häuserfronten meist aus Holz - urig und malerisch. Toller Bildaufbau hier, Adele. LGE

Very nice photo with good image structure. The trees on the left in the picture, the water in the foreground and the massive mountains in the background give the houses a worthy framework, which in turn break through the color monotony of the frame in their own way.
