“Analog” Delivery of Digital Images?

In this era of “digital-everything,” I found an absolute charm in the
old-fashioned bicycle in front of Foto-Rimbach on Schilllerplatz in Mainz.

Bicycles always are worth a photo. And this one is an extraordinary beauty, even a "character". In combination with the display window and your excellent composition and editing, this photography has become an eye-catcher. Of course, like often found in your photography, with a deeper meaning - as you already have pointed out in your display title.

Your have your own retro style. But it really brings it to the point. That makes it really different and I like that.
    Best regards, Matthias

portrait photography – the most analog science of all: one click provides you with a counterfeit reproduction of your face! and yes, you're right! it's a gem – both the ancient-looking bike and the storefront of the "photoshop" (in the very analog sense of the word ; )))! love the "honeycomb-shape" of the window! and your title makes me think of our strange "longing for the analog in times of "digital sterility": what i like most about my computer are its cute little attempts at being analog: the "trash bucket" on my "desk", for example, and how it opens its lid for me, whenever i dump a file, and puts it back on when i empty it. and that delightful crackling sound it makes, imitating the crushing of paper… lg, sabine.
