Heraklion is the largest city in the island of Creta.The section of the old town is a real maze of tiny streets that still save rich marks of the long Venetian occupation and are, from morning to night ,crowded with trading merchants,cafes, restaurants and all kind of shops. Quite numerous are the cosy, tiny tavernas where one can enjoy a quick meal with local specialites and drinks with low prices.
In the photo, one of these tavernas advertizing the 90 year old of it's existence!..Definitely an exageration!

People talking and drinking, but my two favourites are the lady on the far left seemingly scratching her head. and the elderly gent on the right who seems to be really glaring at her for some reason. an exellent candid with, I am sure, many stories to tell.:))
