Namibia: Coastal Dunes
Fleeting moments of Light.When I returned to the scene yesterday afternoon three 4x4 vehicles were driving over these dunes, the tracks scars will remain for years!

Kurzer Lichteinfall. Als ich gestern nachmittag noch ein Mal dort war fuhren gerade drei 4x4 Autos über diese Dünen. Die Spuren (Wunden!!!) werden viele Jahre davon zeugen.

Wunderschöne Wüstenlandschaft.
Mir erschließt sich die Vielfalt der Nuancen erst nach längerem Betrachten.

at first sight i thought this was a collage of two pictures, separated from each other by a sandy line! then i read your text and couldn't believe it!! so the line's not a processed line at all but the tracks of a 4x4?? that's amazing!!! and quite frightening, too: humans leaving their unverwüstliche (daher das wort? ; ))!) spuren in a landscape that at first sight seems so primeval and unconquerable to us! greetings, sabine. p.s.: the light on the dune is so beautiful, as it's making the sand look like velvet!

Von den neusten Dünenbildern gefällt mir dies am meisten. Die Farbschattierungen und "Düne pur" sind einfach klasse. Die Verdichtung der unterschiedlichen Beleuchtung mit der langen Brennweite ist beeindruckend.
... nehme ich auch als Anregung für April/Mai mit.

Hello Cathy ,

Super texture and colors but here also because of the center sand lines you cut your picture in 2 parts and your eye find no real focusing spot .

I would crop 1/3 from the bottom part .
