North View

Well, as I told, I am starting to clean up my office. Found on a CD-ROM some interesting data...:-))

This is a view from near the top of Franklin Mountains Peak, around 6500 ft above main sea level, in the city area of El Paso, TX.

The Otero Mountains and Franklin Mountains are the geological extensions of the Rocky Mountains and also of the Chihuahua desert.
Here the Spaniards crossed the Rio Grande and explored the country to the north.
On the left side you look into the Rio Grande Valley, on the right side just into the desert (military area of White Sands Missile Range)

I thought, this is worth to show. Critics are welcome..:-))
