Ok, I do know some german. But all that don't are left out. Also if you "just" post comments. The rest want to know to what you say. (And the is a whole page just for german speaking.)

You are completely right, .com is supposed to be international. .de is intended for German speakers.
It is highly appreciated to use English on the .com pages.
Only in the world channel uploaders can be .de users as well as this is a mixed channel.

yes you are correct - english is the language for .com ... if the site slips into german because of the large number of german members it will have a detrimental effect on the growth of the site internationally. I do really appreciate german people and all other nationalities having the ability to speak english and am mildly embarrassed that I have only one language - so for that I apologise. regards, Paul.

I have to agree -the small amount of german I know does not get me far :(

I agree. Most of the time i feel like an alien to post comment in english where you find all are in German.
One more thing for Channel Manager, when you take your mouse on tabs , yellow colored windows pops-up in German, i think this should be in English.
