Monthly Theme- October 2012 – Songs and images

At the beginning of the month I will post a photo topic for the month. Anyone interested in participating can post an image in the thread to show how you depict the topic.

This month’s theme will be “Songs and Images”.
A lot of FC users post a song link along with the image they upload so this month we will make it part of the monthly theme. Find a song or a lyric from a song that speaks to you and create an image around it.
Post the image as well as a link to the song.

There are no prizes for the monthly theme just the fun and satisfaction of participating.

This Month’s Photography quote;

With every new camera that comes along, the promise of our photographic life being made simpler is presented us. Be it from personal experience or reading on the web, we all know that right out of the box no camera body takes the perfect photo. It requires input from us to make that investment sing our tune. Some of that input is mechanical, but that has a limit. To get beyond that and to really make our photographs our own, the input has to come from the heart. What “feel” do we want in our photographs? When we take that heartless machine and insert our heart is when our photography goes to a whole new level and our explorations and visual communication starts grabbing other hearts. What I love best about this step in one’s photography is that the mechanical tends to start fading in importance. Gotta have it to start with, but sure don’t need it to continue to move forward. there is no connection to the song from amy winehouse but for the fact that this girl sang the song "valery" as well. and of course not as good as amy.
