first of all Hello to everyone. i am very new to this site and in fact digital photography but i am enjoying looking at everyones work and am learning so much already. I have been saked by a family member to try to restore a picture ,of which the original has been lost, and has been made into a jigsaw puzzle, back into a frameable photo. Is this even possible? Can anyone sudgest a good method of removing the lines from the picture with photoshop? cheers Rob.

Rob,

This shouldn't be too difficult, but it'll take time to do well.
Probably the favourite way to repair the joins will be with a clone stamp, clone, patch tool.. (whatever your photo editing software supports)
This tool will literally clone a selected area of your photo and drop it onto the damaged part. A very common way of removing or adding detail. Some areas will go very quickly, others where there is high detail, especially around faces, will be tricky.
Good luck, and keep asking..

Regards. Rob.

I would also use everything that Rob said,
but remember to work with a clear bachdrop, if its white it wont work to well, and work in layers!
