I just uploaded 2 pictures, one in Motifs, a black and white of my kids and one in Nature of my dog C.C. This is my first try at Black and White and could use some constructive criticism. Thanks so much.

Alissa,...hello!

My name is rAul...and I personally love to shot B/W,..the only advice I can give you is to read up on B/W techniques,..I personally shot B/W film and I love to use Ilford 100, AGFA 100,Fuji Acros, and Kodak T-Max 40O. I will say this, Im not a professional but I enjoy this films because of the texture you can get from shooting them...

I was once told by a very good friend,.."you want to master photography?"...learn to shoot B/W film!"..."Once you learn to shoot B/W, you will be able to shoot anything else!....

OH!...and try 1600 and 3200,..now this may require some push and pull on the film to control grain..but have fun with it!...

If you want some more detailed information...email me...
