Backlighting
Hi
I am thinking of making or buying a light box frame to show my abstract flower images on a wall, so the colours stand out with the light behind.
Has any one done this ,how did d work out?
many thanks

that is not called backlighting. backlighting refers to a scene for a photograph where a scene is lit by light coming from behind the subject/object.
what you mean to say is SHADOW-BOX. that refers to a frame first made in the states many years ago where a frame is deeper than the photo inside, which sits on a slightly raised surface. by doing this, there is a difference in height bewteen the two, and creates a shadow effect between the frame, the photo surface and the empty area around the foto. this makes it stand out more, thence the name: shadow-box. just go to any frame shop and ask for it by name....
