General information about the trial membership
With your registration to fotocommunity you will receive our "World"-membership for 14 days free of charge for testing. The trial period starts automatically after you successfully registered - and also ends automatically after 14 days. Neither a separate activation of the membership nor a cancelation is required.
When will my trial membership start?
Your trial membership will begin automatically after you successfully registered and confirmed your email address.Within five minutes you will receive a notification from us by e-mail that your trial membership has been activated.
On page "Account balance" At all times you have the option to view the information about your current and past membership. During the trial membership it says: "Your current membership: World Membership (Trial)".
What can I do using a trial membership?
The trial membership is a thank you for your registration to fotocommunity. With it you have the opportunity to test at no charge some features of the World membership for a period of 14 days. You may put up up to 30 photos every week for public discussion, upload an unlimited number of photos and access most of the discussion forums. In addition you can enjoy the fotocommunity without ads. An overview of all the functions of our premium memberships you can find on the page "Membership".
How does the trial membership differs from a full-fledged premium membership?
The trial membership is a thank you for your registration to fotocommunity and is valid for a period of 14 days. It corresponds largely to our Premium Membership "World", with the following exceptions:
- With a trial membership you will have limited access to our nude area, for example on overview pages. To see nude photos in full, at least a regular Basic membership is required.
- The trial membership allows you to access almost all the forums. Only the access to our members forums is restricted.
What happens after my trial membership expired?
Your trial membership will automatically expire after 14 days. After the trial your membership will be automatically converted to a free membership. This membership is fee of charge and you have access to the basic features of fotocommunity.
Due to the downgrade to the free membership you are able to upload one photo per week for public discussion and a total upload of 100 photos. If you have already uploaded more than 100 photos during your trial membership, only the 100 recently uploaded photos remain in your portfolio.
To use the advantages of a Basic, Pro or World membership beyond your trial membership, you have the opportunity to subscribe to a premium membership at any time. More information about the features, prices and how to change your membership you can find on the page "Membership".
What are the benefits if I subscribe to a premium membership after the trial?
You have the opportunity to subscribe to a premium membership (Basic, Pro or World) at any time during your trial membership. So you prevent a downgrade to the Free membership (at no charge) with less features and the loss of uploaded photos. What are the benefits of a Premium membership?
With Premium memberships we refer to the fee-paying membership types you need to use advanced features of fotocommunity.
All Premium Memberships offer you the following benefits:
- Access to the Nude Channel
You can view all photos from the nude genre, you can comment and also upload nude photos into the nude section and access the nude forum. - market place
In the forum "market place" you can buy and sell photographic equipment. - ad free
Our premium members (basic membership and up) will have no ads on fotocommunity pages. - full access to all forums
You have full access to the forums of fotocommunity. You can read, write and discuss in the "Members-Talk" and other forums, which are not accessible for free members. - Premium workshops
fotocommunity organizes workshops on a regular basis, only available to Premium members. - Gallery: review & vote
In the gallery are only the best photos of fotocommunity. Our premium members have the privilege to vote photos into the gallery. - post appointments/meetings
fotocommunity features a public event calendar, including photo meetings, exhibitions, workshops. As a premium member you can use it to enter and invite other members to events. - Review contest photos
The jury's assessment of competition photos is usually preceded by a user voting. The voting of competition photos is possible for you as a premium member only . - sell your photos
You would like to earn money with your passion? As a premium member you can put up your selected photosfor sale. You may sell only prints - so the image rights remain with you.
Is it necessary to cancel the trial membership?
No, you do not have to cancel your trial membership. It ends automatically after 14 days. Or if you already subscribed one of our premium memberships before the trial expires. Premium memberships At the end of the trial membership you will be notified by e-mail.
What is a "World Membership (Trial)"?
Once your trial membership is activated, appears on the page "Account balance" the information that "World Membership (Trial)" is your current membership. This is a trial membership.
Do I have to expect any costs?
No. The 14-day trial membership and the following "Free"-membership is free of charge. The downgrade to the "Free"-membership will be processed automatically. You will not be charged and there is anything you need to do.
