About me

In 1985, My dad bought me a Yashica 35mm camera when I was in college. I loved that camera and got very good results with it until it was stolen on a flight to San Francisco. I bought a Pentax as a replacement but never got the same quality of image for some reason or other. I pretty much gave up on it until my dad bought me my first digital (a 1.3 mp Olympus point-and-shoot) in 1999. Since then I've been back with a vengance. The instant feedback has allowed me to learn so much and to do what I new I could but was prevented from doing by the cost and inconvenience of film.

I love shooting candids of kids, family and seniors. I'm working on lighting and trying to get a natural look while controlling exposure and keeping a candid feel to the subject .
