About me
My name is Lloyd Carter my family and I have just emigrated from England to a beautiful part of South Africa , Knysna on the garden route. We have just opened a luxury guest house in Knysna, ( Knysna stays ) and we are in the process of setting up golfing and photographic holidays for people from around the world .
I studied at art school in the 1980's speacilising in fine art and sculpture . I also had a massive interest in photography but felt a restriction to be able to edit a photo to high a standard prior to the digital age , new technology has enabled me to explore these elements and enjoy the wonderfull world of digital photography .
Landscape photography was an area I never really explored until I started travelling , when I discovered the garden route in South Africa I was amazed by it's beauty and diversity and the photographic oppurtunities it opened up for me , so much so my family and I emigrated here. I hope you enjoy my photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them .
