This year, our annual Freedom to Create Prize has opened for entries. This US$ 125,000 global Prize celebrates the role of the arts to promote social justice, build the foundations for an open society and inspire the human spirit. There are three categories – Main, Youth and Imprisoned Artist – and entries are accepted from 1 May to 15 August. We are also on Facebook (Freedom to Create Non Profit Organisation). Last year, the Prize received entries from over 1,000 people from more than 100 countries – ranging from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe! Entrants are also given the opportunity to have their works or performances join our global touring exhibition and participate in our award ceremony which is scheduled for November!
