When I was 12 years old I started seriously taking photo's after I bought my first camera, an Exacta mirror reflex camera made in Eastern Germany. Later on I changed it for a Fujica ST 801 and an Olympus XA1, both I am still using. In those days I frequently experimented with B&W photo's in my own Dark Room. Currently I am taking most photographs with my small digital camera a Nikon Coolpix 4200. Subjects I take photographs of the most are people in their own typical environment and architecture (because I am an architect myself)

The Profile photo is not a self portrait (they keep on failing) but a one I took from (part of) my son.
