I started my photography career in 1984 as an apprentice, working mainly in the studio and wedding arena.

After working as the studio manager for a year I left the UK and became a Cruise Line photographer, initially working on the SS. Canberra. This work continued for many years with my promotion to Chief Photographer/Photo Manager working for a number of Cruise Lines such as P&O, Princess Cruises, Royal Viking Line, Seaborne, Crystal Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Chandris, Dolphin, Silja, Norwegian Caribbean and a few others.

My later years with my feet back on the ground have moved into the specialty of Aerial photography while still maintaining my passion for photographing people and to be honest ‘anything’.

Like many traditional photographers my preference is still film photography. I have worked hard however to embrace the new digital age with digital SLR work becoming more and more relevant to the requirements of my client base.

Photography in general seems to have changed so much with success being a constant challenge!
