Water Strider
The Water Strider is a bug (not a gnat) with a very slender and elongated body (8-10mm.) that can really walk on water !
This predatory insect uses its strong forelegs with claws to hunt for small insects and invertebrates.
Dutch name : Schaatsenrijder
German name : Wasserläufer
Latin name : Gerris lacustris
