Burhinus vermiculatus
Triele sind vorwiegend bodenbewohnende Vögel, wo sie auch ihre Nahrung finden.
Bei Bedrohung rennen sie mehr als dass sie fliegen.
Sie fressen vor allem Insekten und Kleintiere.
