These contraptions ply between town on the outskirts of Delhi ! They have a nice name "JUGGAD" you say that starting with a "J" as in Jack. This word literally cannot be translated but comes close to something that came out of good luck ! or by fluke . They have single cyclinder Diesel Engine with 400 - 600 CC capacity. The drive mechanism is thro' a belt or a chain to the front two wheels.
Theses engines are built to be coupled onto Industrial water pumps used in Agricultural belts of India to pump water from deep wells.
Observe the cable traveling from the left side of his battery cabin to the right side of this vehicle powering his HEAD LAMP !!!
