Ein sehr gutes Portrait!Die Vipernnatter (Natrix maura) ist eine richtige Wasserschlange und die westliche Schwesternart der Würfelnatter (Natrix tesselata).
Die Vipernnatter ist nicht giftig!
Die Färbung ist sehr Variabel und häufig besitzt sie Augenflecken und ein mehr oder weniger deutliches Zickzackband auf dem Rücken.
So wird auch klar warum diese harmlose Schlange diesen Namen bekommen hat.
