The Sun Voyager.(Viking Ship Sculpture,Viking boat..) Designed as a guide to Sólfar or Sun Voyager for photographers. Sun Voyager is a sculpture, in the waterfront north of Reykjavík city center, Iceland.It's also ONE OF THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHERD PLACES IN REYKJAVIK.Not only is the sculpture itself beautiful but also the view.Sólfar is a massive steel creation, it's a semi- abstract work by Jón Gunnar Árnason made in 1971. The view from the sculpture is stunning, the sky, the sea and of course Esjan, a mountain. Standing by this sculpture during sunset, at any time of the year, is an unforgettable moment. Taking photos is the best way to capture that magic so you can relive it time and again. I have seen so many good photographs of Sólfar and the environment around it and taken plenty myself.Again and again over past few years.There are of course thousand photographs in this guide,on google or flickr and everywhere else..but I want to post main as a original with main composition,colours,angle..Arin 16/08/2009 11:18
