Unbound tresses
Every year million of people from different parts of India gather together at the Religious Congregation of 'Sagar Mela' (Fair at Sea shore) in Bengal. People take a holy dip in the sea on a particular day. It is believed that the act will help them get rid of their sin and move towards salvation with the blessings of God.
The Sadhus (Sage) are getting ready on the sea shore to take a dip. They keep long tresses as part of their resolute devotion and meditaion practices.
