Früher hat man bei der Entwicklung von sw- Fotos das Korn bewußt größer gewählt, um Bildrauschen zu erzeugen. Man hat es als Stilmittel eingesetzt. Da kam niemand auf die Idee, dass dadurch der Gesamteindruck geschmälert würde.
