The last of my balcony images - taken from the 11th floor of my brother-in-law's apartment on Beach Ave, Vancouver .... the rent here is 1,350.00 $ per month - he has a balcony but one room less, a so-called studio with a corner area for sleeping.

this shows Sunset Beach, English Bay with its always present tankers, Bowen Island and in the far distance an outline of the Gulf Islands.

P.S. was glad to get off that balcony :-))))

oh, so it was actually two appartement views you were showing us?! i guess all those sites would have been too much for one place anyway: you'd never get anything done, spending all day on the balcony indulging in the spectacular view!! ; )) but what a great clear and pretty day you picked for your photo-session in dizzying heights! the ocean looks so pretty with both great big freighters and tiny-looking sailboats on it, and i just love that dynamic little "snail/spiral shape" of the mole/peninsula on the left margin of the shot! hugs, sabine.

he pays well for that view...
I pay less than half for a Loft (larger that that what yoru brother-in-law has) in the middle of Wuppertal.. directly on the Wupper (river)
