sorry, I am not good enough to give you real advice. But one thing is for shure: it is extremely difficult, to catch a vew like this in a great picture.You need to try with many different exposures, times and apertures AND with different times of the day to catch it really good.
Try to get a sharp view of the salt in the foreground.
Only experiments bring experience
